My time and involvement in chapels at the UNIVERSITY OF OREGON were so incredibly vital in helping me become all that God wanted me to be.  Being a high-level college athlete is so demanding that it often steals not only our time but our focus and makes it very difficult to find ways to take care of growing in our faith but the effort that Josh puts in to facilitate Bible studies and one on one spiritual growth was exactly what I needed to maintain a clear focus on God and his work in my life!

Being a college football player at a prestigious program like the UNIVERSITY OF OREGON comes with so many challenges and distractions. I met Josh as soon as I arrived at UNIVERSITY OF OREGON and I was so thankful that he constantly pursued me To find as much time as possible to meet up and learn about my faith and purpose in Jesus.  I’ve always known the value of having strong spiritual leaders in my life that not only challenge me in my faith but patiently walk with me as I continue to learn more about God and his word and what his plan is for my life. As an NFL athlete it was an easy transition for me to venture out on my own to a new city and establish myself as a strong man of God on a mission to honor him and all that I do! Josh his mentor ship was invaluable in that process and I’m thankful we all have had him daily behind the scenes in the football program to help us grow and find our God-given purpose in life!

As head coach and leader of this football program I know all too well how important it is to have the right priorities.  As I lead these young players and staff, I want to know that I am making every effort to follow God’s lead in my life and to give that same opportunity to everyone in our program.  Josh has proven to be a committed spiritual leader for our team for over a decade and his passionate commitment to give all of us every opportunity to grow closer to God and find our purpose in Him is something for which we are all very grateful.
